At MichanDirect, we strive to get your order to you as quickly and efficiently as possible. This Shipping Policy outlines our processing times, shipping methods, costs, and delivery expectations.
1. Processing Time
Processing time is the time between when we receive your order and when it's shipped from our warehouse.
- Standard Orders: 2-3 business days
- Custom or Made-to-Order Items: 5-10 business days
- Pre-Order Items: Processing time will be specified on the product page
Note: Processing times do not include weekends or holidays. Orders placed after 2:00 PM GMT on Friday will be processed the following Monday.
2. Shipping Methods and Transit Times
Once your order has been processed and shipped, delivery times vary based on your location and selected shipping method.

3. Shipping Carriers
We partner with trusted carriers to ensure reliable delivery:
- UK: Royal Mail, DPD, Yodel, Evri (Hermes)
- International: Royal Mail International, DHL, FedEx
The carrier used for your order will be selected based on your location and shipping method. You will receive carrier information in your shipping confirmation email.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with:
- Your tracking number
- A link to track your package
- Estimated delivery date

5. International Orders - Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Important Information for International Customers
When ordering from outside the United Kingdom, please be aware:
- Customs Duties and Taxes: International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees imposed by your country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our product or shipping prices.
- Customs Clearance: Your order may be held by customs for inspection, which can delay delivery. We have no control over customs processing times.
- Refused Shipments: If you refuse a shipment due to customs fees, you will be responsible for the original shipping costs and any return shipping fees.
We recommend checking with your local customs office to understand potential charges before placing an international order.
6. Delivery Issues
Lost or Stolen Packages
If your tracking shows the package was delivered but you did not receive it:
- Check with neighbors or building management
- Verify the delivery address on your order confirmation
- Contact the carrier directly using your tracking number

We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier. However, we will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue.
Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged:
- Take photos of the damaged packaging and items

- We will arrange for a replacement or refund
Incorrect Address
Please ensure your shipping address is correct before completing your order. If you need to update your address:
- Contact us immediately if your order has not yet shipped
- Once shipped, we cannot change the delivery address
- Address correction fees charged by the carrier will be the customer's responsibility
7. Shipping Restrictions
We currently ship to most countries worldwide. However, we do not ship to:
- P.O. Boxes (for certain items)
- Military APO/FPO addresses (contact us for special arrangements)
- Countries under international trade restrictions

8. Holidays and Peak Seasons
During holidays and peak shopping seasons (Black Friday, Christmas, etc.), processing and shipping times may be extended due to high order volumes. We will notify customers of any delays via email and on our website.
